Probably have to read about it in the paper if can find it.

With hunting seasons still in you probably won't hear anything until at least March/April. Even then they might not tell you anything. You'll need to find out who the WCO is that's prosecuting the case and ask to talk to them. The dispatcher won't give you his/her number. They'll have them call you back and it will be from a private number.
It will probably never make the paper unless the guy makes a big stink about it. Heck even poaching cases barely make it. So a stolen trap isn't going to make the cut. Around here the only PGC cases that make the paper are bear or elk poaching cases. You never see a deer poaching case or anything to do with trapping.

This was my Trap. Taken last Friday. Thank you guys for getting the word out and it getting the word back to me. I just got off the phone with the game commision. They wanted me to verify the location for them. The guy who found it said he threw it into the woods. The Warden and the the guy who found it could not locate it today. Im seeing now that the jerk says the trap is "His Now". So why did he drag the warden up there to look for it? This is new information that must be passed along. Of course he had the trap.Just told the warden that to cover that up.

He still took the trap and stole it regardless if he threw the trap or not.

Seeing how easily he was found, probably should have handled it yourself. By the time this is over it would have been way more satisfying.

He might get into trouble if he gunned the guy down .......better let the game warden handle it .

That’s a bit extreme however a little misery here and there is still satisfying.
