I've never seen Kortum wearing cowboy boots. They have laces.

Shorts ..it depends

I grew up in a world where men wore pants year round. I still think its odd when I see a man in shorts. For what it’s worth I dont feel uncomfortable in cold weather compared to most people. Hot weather I hate. I can work/ function in it but I greatly prefer cold.

There are quite a few in our area that do wear shorts in winter. Mostly younger males. It may make sense as many that wear the low slung baggy pants shred the bottoms by walking on them, so maybe they are saving some clothing costs.

When I worked in a High School over 16 years ago, some kids would walk to school wearing shorts in the middle of winter. More would wear them on the school bus and many would not bring a coat with them. I guess they never heard the motto "be prepared."

At least they are still walking. I've seen far less morbidly obese people in wheel chairs, that I'm pretty sure were only using the chairs out of sloth.

The short wearing people do get a nice tan. But the heavily haired legs of some people are very unsightly.

More like a lack of sense.
