The Blizzard of 2025 mostly shut us down for a couple of days. The snow didnt come as much as they said it would so we spend all day Monday trying to get a line re-established. We hope to be back to catching soon.

Should be easy now with tracks to show you where to set. In winter I snare a few cats on those little drainage water ways. Move some brush if no natural pinch points exist where you want to set, and just make your own. Pretty easy to visually neck down a narrow frozen dry creek bed with a few well placed branches and hang a snare where you leave an opening. Good luck guys and have fun. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Really sucks to wait and plan all year for a trip out of state then the weather wipes out all your hopes and dreams. That would only happen in wimpland, lol.

We had a great day in the heartland! The weather was cold but beautiful! Had -6 temps to start the day but the 18 with sun and very light winds.
We set on some fire sign and feel great about our increasing line.

Im glad. Constant effort brings constant reward.

We have been trudging through the drifted fields adding sets where the critters are telling us too. The sets should have marinated enough now to start catching some coyotes. Joe connected on a nice Kansas bobcat to break the post Blizzard ice!
