Trapped my first cat today, anyone have any cool mount ideas or recommend any good taxidermists? Based out of Colorado

Congrats! Many taxidermists aren't that great with mounting cats so do your homework. You can always just get it tanned too.

If you rug it, like stated above. Make sure the taxidermist sews the liner on and doesn’t glue it. Glue will separate over the years. Congratulations!!!

I worked for a guy that did nuisance wild life trapping for a few years, so I may of had a hand in catching the fox maybe not

The guy that made the hat is actually a old Russian furrier out of New York

bobcats are NOTORIOUSLY difficult to mount correctly...choose your taxidermist WISELY!

Congrats first is always the best

Don't get it mounted. There is a TINY percentage of taxidermists who can do a bobcat justice. Most are terrible. Best to save the money and just have it tanned and get a nice picture of it framed.

This one is over 30 years old. Came from Arkansas.

A guy I know from Wisconsin had one mounted by a lady from north Carolina he's got it mounted on a fake piece of wood that looks real.i can find out more info if you want it just pm me.
