right in the living room the wall to the left only comes out about 6 inches past the hearth and that is the dining room

by having it professionally installed , I laid the hearth.
and by having it on the main floor of the house the insurance did not go up when I had it installed , on our second insurance company since the stove was installed in 2007 and the new company I sent pictures and they were good with it.

I clean out the ash and there are coals to get the fire started again most mornings
if it is zero outside I would need to fil the stove every 3 hours
if it is 20 outsize I can go about 5 and at 30 about 6 hours

always let the first fire of the day burn primary air open , that keeps the chimney very clean and dry
then after that first hour or 2 in the morning load up and regulate the air down is fine once it is burning well.

keep in mind my house was built in 1909 and does not have the best insulation or windows, I am getting to more insulation some day.
