duke #5 Could you show a picture of a #5 dbl set in the water. I'm figuring it is set (looking from land) spring,trap,spring, so the bever walks between the jaws like a coilspring? \O/

im 13 and just kinda learning how to trap and I cant set coilsprings by hand and DBLs seem interesting to me cause I like longsprings for water trapping, anybody have any recommendations for brands to get or does anybody have any for sale?
PETA is stupid.

Love longsprings!! Wyoming big iron with 330 springs Someone needs to make these again, they work well for the 4.5 sleepy I am assuming that is a setter in the bottom pic. How does it work? look easy enough to make

That steel loop slides up the spring toward the jaws. Push down the lever and the spring compresses and locks that way. The loop is too small to work with #5 Bridger or #5 duke longsprings.

Anyone using the bridger #4? If so what modifications or how do you like to set them up? I have some I use for under ice beaver platforms, they're factory other than adding 6-8' of cable to the end of the swivel to anchor with

I’ve pretty much hung up the sleepy creeks, don’t wanna chance losing them. Still use victors and #5 duke and Bridger though
