Any part of a hog good for bait or lure making? Other than the scraps for a bait station?

I've used alot of pork brain

I had access to pork offal years ago back in ND, using it for bait stations.

I killed some coyotes off it, but it was far from the top of the list.

If you have fat trimmings make some lard, save the cracklins for bait as well.

Nothing to do with trapping but I was bear hunting fall Black Bear in Maine back in 2000, end of August. My guide used beef and pork trimming from the local butcher for his baits, hang a feed sack full in a tree and slick up the tree with molasses. The bears never left beef scraps but did leave pork behind.

If you cured and smoked some it would be like bacon, always gets eaten....
