Anyone else belong to this outstanding organization? They’ll reimburse hunters and trappers in MT and ID from $750 to $2k for killing a wolf for joining them for 40 bucks a year. Talk about putting your money where your mouth is. My kid and his buddies have made thousands for their efforts. Oh, and you keep the wolf. Anyone who ever comes out here to hunt big game should throw this outfit a few bucks.

Not made, were reimbursed. At least that's how it was explained to me by my brother (he moved down there about 6-7 years ago to work for Idaho Fish and Game). I heard people talking about a $1,000 "bounty" on wolves, and I was darn near ready to go winter down there and chase wolves for money. Then it was explained to me that it's a reimbursement program, not real profitable.

Yes it is a reimbursement, but you can get reimbursed for anything you have reciepts for that you use for wolf trapping, doesn't matter when you bought it, as long as it was before you caught the wolf. And it doesn't have to be used just for trapping. I'm working on reimbursing my second snow machine now, you can reimburse your new truck, or one you bought back in the 80's, as long as you use it for trapping and you have a receipt. So it isn't a money maker, but it can sure help cut expenses.

Never heard of it but would be worth it even big game hunting if you had a wolf tag. Trapping a wolf would be cool . And expensive because that would probably be a taxidermy bill
