I trippedd over the pile of beaver traps that I need to get ready to go catch the rodents that are flooding out the access to our cabin. If that counts.

Seven below coyote this morning

Got two fox today.

How they looking Rob? We shut the line down Saturday because the fur was starting to break down, started seeing some rubbing.

All I did was sort out some of my gear so I can head out this weekend. Nothing spectactular, but organization of gear is important.

Went out to find a spot to set up a walk through or a hay set.
Snow was crusty and I sounded like a squeaky old rocking chair when I stepped.

Thought about cleaning the fur shed.

Start cleaning my garage which is also used as a fur shed.

My buddy stopped by the office to show me this critter he caught. His second of the season.

Thankfully we don’t get many.




I have some sign on one property and have a few sets out with no luck yet. Going to add a mess of cable soon

Drug a big male coyote home, took three fishers off their board, hung a couple more fisher to thaw out, and repaired a damaged fisher box

Checked 7 beavers set yesterday and picked up one otter out of them , by the time I got home he was frozen solid . I went out to check on him this afternoon to skin him and he was still frozen . How do you guys that live in the north deal with this .
