All of the above. Ice is also your friend. We always got the ice circulation machine and wrap. It is awesome. Kneeling with a pad always, making setting land sets more difficult but using a thick kneeling pad really helps. In the shop always use a kneeling pad of some sort. Best thing I had done though, the pain from bone on bone was terrible, it is gone.

I have had both of mine done day after deer season last year day after deer season this year or 8 weeks ago I will use knee pads like on the trap line other wise I just kneel down get something and go. The main thing I have noticed is do all of your therapy everyday yes there is pain but not like the constant grind in the knees when it was bone on bone.

I had a total knee replacement on my left knee a year and a half ago. I am just now able to kneel on it with knee pads. I don't knell at K9 sets anymore.

Am looking at getting a replacement knee now, Doc said first month I won't be able to believe I did that to myself, 2nd month, I'll start getting used to it. 3rd month I won't be able to believe I didn't do it sooner.
GET YOUR TEETH CHECKED OUT!!!! There's an extremely high risk of infection from bad teeth with this surgery.

The guy that did mine won't operate unless you have a medical, cardiac, and dental clearance....no exceptions

I read somewhere about in place of a total knee replacement they have come up with some sort of insert they can use now. Much less invasive and much quicker recovery time. Anybody else heard of that?

It's not always about catching fish. That's what people who don't catch fish usually say.
