The AR people absolutely monitor us. Probably more than we monitor them.

I support free speech. What surprises me is that stuff is getting traction. I do not understand how people can not see that we humans are also part of the natural world. Its our role in the scheme of things to be predators. No different than the role of lions or wolves. The difference is we can think. We are the only species that can positively impact our environment deliberately. Its our role to care for the natural world. We are the only species capable of it.

They are unaware just how cruel the natural world is. Utilizing animals to benefit us is not anymore unethical than it is when a weasel kills a jackrabbit or a coyote kills a calf.

What is unethical is destroying that environment. Something animals do. From mountain lions sitting on a water hole during a drought and killing a fresh animal every night to muskrats eating everything in a pond and then starving or becoming prey when they leave. animals are not capable of seeing the damage they do. Killing that lion and trapping those rats is a positive.

We humans can keep populations healthy through selective harvest. Less of a pendulum swing from almost no animals to overpopulation.

Farming animals to feed ourselves is not unethical. How did we get so far removed from the natural world that they believe its unethical?

Great post grin

Just checked out a few articles on this. Seems like he had some animal husbandry issues problems at his facility, that were exploited.
Gotta watch keep these operations tight, as someone is always looking to snitch.
This fuels the anti’s for sure.
