Sister called me. Colorado has a new chicken law as of January first. Chickens have to have bigger cages and organic feed to be sold there. I just thought eggs were high here.

Don't know why the panic . Way to fix it is go egg free for one day. NO ONE eat an egg or use one for a day. Supply problem fixed.

It's not a supply problem rather increased production cost due to new regs driving up the price

That's $5.11 a dozen in lots of 30. A lot of grocery stores charge more for larger sizes, per amount, because people were trained long ago that bigger meant cheaper and they don't do the math. You would be better off buying mutiple dozens of eggs.

Keith

Sister lives in Aurora. (Denver) Not allowed to put a coop in the backyard. Sounds like anyone keeping chickens will need to follow the same guidelines, get inspected, just to sell a few eggs to the neighbors.

The effort to tear down our country is still alive and well.
