It won't weld very well if you're trying to make drags out of it.

Bet those would be excellent muskrat stakes.Would be 3 stakes at 6 foot 8 inches long under $5 each for the 1/2 inch stock.Should not weigh to bad being made out of fiberglass.

We use it in place of metal re-rod for many concrete jobs.

It is way cheaper at a supply yard

I wish there was a way for the average person to weld it together for t stakes,,,,,,, that would be a game changer….

Old post of mine

Had some 1/2" fiberglass poles and conduit lying around was gonna make lightweight kill poles out of em but figured if I can make a kill poles out of some fiberglass and conduit....what else could I make ? So grabbed a cut off pice of pole and made a crimp on T head out of conduit and some 1/2 round stock. Just slips over the top of the rod and you crimp in on the pole with a hammer like you would a snare furrel on cable. It's super sturdy and light as all get out. Barely bends .

Side effect of Alaska prices I think but price doesn't seem bad to me.
