Folks from Canada, that know what needs to be done, support Trump. The same loudmouth Liberals supporters will always complain loudly , and the media will report it like it represents the whole Country. Once Canada votes out the garbage, safety along our borders and trade with the U.S. will improve. Very true

They're just envious. Medical facilities in bordering States are full of Canadians getting treatment that they'd have to wait months or years for in Canada. So much for "free" health care.

Canadian beer sold in the US is different from Canadian beer sold in Canada. 2010,The last time I purchased a case , 24 cans, of Labatt Blue at an Ontario government beer store in Dryden, it was $60/ case. At that same time a 30 pack of US sold Labatt blue was $19. That’s one example of the price Canadians pay for their universal healthcare. The lodge owner I rented a cabin from, told me if I have a medical emergency, if I can, drive to International Falls , MN for medical care. Do not go to the Dryden hospital.

That would make sense since it’s only free healthcare for Canadians. Visiting foreigners don’t qualify.

It’s not even $60 CAD a case now! Boy did they see you coming….lol , I should have stated $60 CAD. No one saw me coming, no one Working at the store was smart enough to take advantage of me. I stood in line at the beer store, only US citizen in there, I watched your fellow Canadians pay the same amount. I bitched about the price and all your comrades said it’s because we have universal health care. So the government/commie beer store was sticking to your comrades as well. And if you read my post it was in 2010, it’s 2025 today must be the price dropped. But I guess you guys know, every thing in Canada is so much cheaper, like groceries and gas. LOL That’s why Watertown, NY is full of Canadians shopping everyday.

Forgot to mention, in November 2010 the Canadian dollars was worth around .02 more than the US dollar.
As far as going to the local hospital it wasn’t about me receiving free healthcare. The lodge owner said the healthcare there was terrible. His father in law broke his leg went to the Dryden emergency room . Waited all day couldn’t get in, had to go home and return the next day. Those were his words not mine.

My brother had some kind of pancreas attack in 2023 while at his camp north of Vermilion Bay. He was alone and drove to the hospital in Dryden. They actually got him in and stabilized pretty quick. He drove back to camp that night with info for his doc when he got back to the US. I will say, almost all of my buddies up there were surprised that it went that smooth. They made it sound like his experience was the exception rather than the rule at the Dryden hospital.

I know Brock Lesnar didn’t have anything good to say about the care he got up here, think he almost died! If I go to the US, I’ve got Blue Cross insurance but apparently sometimes you have to pay up front and get reimbursed.
