I'm not much of a land trapper. I've got a few hay sets out behind the house and last night one was worked but the critter did not set the trap off. The tracks were small (house cat sized), walked mostly in line, and weaved in and out of the brush like a hunting fox. At first I thought that the track had long toes, but I think the impression of the pads had melted together and that what I was seeing was longer claws. Here'a a few pictures, what do you think?

looks like possum to me

Possums are one land animal I'm confident in catching! Tracks weren't possum. My camera isn't that great, might be hard to tell from pictures.
