Rats are their best use. They could be used on drowners for coons and mink as well. Good used ones at $5 ea are a fair deal for both buyer and seller.

I started with #1 jumps trapping rats when I was young. Good trap to squeeze in areas.

Remember it's important to position them correctly. You want them set so the animal will approach them from the chain side. You want the trap to "jump" towards them, not away from them....

Yes, that's too much IMO. I could see them fetching more if they were new condition, but $5 is fair IMO on good user traps.

You be patient you will find the traps a lot more reasonable.

You can use up to a #2 jump for these. I got the idea from some old under ice beaver sets where they use #4 or #14's similarly with bait or peeled sticks wired to the pole under the water.
