I am looking for a pair of first edition for less than $1000 I don't know if it will happen but I'm looking. I have about 1500 books including some pretty old and rare. I went to a auction and there was African hunting books in wood sealed containers/boxes like 4 foot long by 3 foot. A few of these boxes. The auctioneer sold them by the box. I had a few hundred dollars to my name and no idea that these would be be at the auction because I could not preview as I was in the hospital the day before as my son was born. A shrewd buyer was bidding and buying for a LA book dealer. Sold anywhere from $500 to $800 per box. Last edited by Slick Pan; 02/08/25 12:33 AM.
