I can manage it…most of the movie is entertaining. Just the end that stinks. And I can process it because Yeller got the rabies and the boy had to be strong and do the right thing. Same thing...... Where the red fern grows.

I see your point... I can't watch "Perfect Storm"....hits too close to home It’s terrible, and it just makes me nervous

I see what a lot of you guys are saying. And I don’t mind a little hiccup in a movie that may make me cry. But this one was bad from the gate. Guy got stuck early in the film and you knew they weren’t gonna get him out. Just non stop suffering and I can’t deal with that. I have not seen the movie, but have seen interviews with the survivor. I think the extreme triumph of him being able to successfully remove part of his arm, in a situation where most people would die and return home makes the movie not entirely sad and pretty inspiring.
