If you can find any post of mine, on any internet forum where I say give the govbernment more control and more money, I will drink from a lure bottle of your choice pal! Good luck. My point was if the money is budgeted to that agency that is where it should be spent, not redirected by the puppets pulling the strings to further their agenda. You want rid of FEMA get the letters to your senator ready, people are screaming about the DOGE flushing things already. I'm good with the idea of helping citizens of this country in a disaster, never claimed it was not flawed, the point of the discussion is the flaws showing up.
