He's caught 100 beaver and 79 otter in 20 days.

The beaver to otter ratio where he's at is crazy.

The beaver to otter ratio where he's at is crazy.

Told you there was an uptick in the otter population this year for some reason but that ratio isn't normal unless your trapping the catfish ponds.

He pulled traps today and ia coming home Saturday. I'm sure he's happy for his catch and sad trapping season for him is over for another year.

He had 115 beaver and 91 otter with 12 traps left to check the last time I talked to him.
Thank yall for riding along with him.

Brian. He skins daily. Usually for at least 2 hours after he's done checking for the day

Thanks Cathryn, I think you already answered a couple days ago. Two hours a day seems pretty quick for the daily amount. It would take me that long for just 3 or 4 beaver.

Jtrapper..it's a high ratio for sure. He has 1 cat fish pond... 1 trap in 1 pond and he caught 6 otter out of that trap.
He's trapping farm country,,soybeans, cotton and corn.

He ended up with 117 beaver and 91 otter

Tell him congrats from another water trapper! Great run he had there. Hope the marketing goes OK...I'm sure you're both working on that part of it by now.
