And of course I wasn't there so I can only conjecture who the top cat buyer was... But if it wasn't George Kortum I will wear short tight shorts for the rest of the trapping season!

Michael Pappas bought well over half the Utah sale, over 370 cats

The next two buyers combined bought 280 some

I think 44 of the 77 or so ‘cats that brought over $1000, Michael bought them

I might be off by a few dollars or a ‘cat or two, but I’ve seen all the bid sheets

First, thank you again John. I could tell by the bids that #1: it was different buyer than normal and that is why I asked. Also I thought prices were not in line with the current market price I was aware of.

Well- I made the call but can't discuss that for now. If you are trapping spring beaver I would expect to see you in shorts until April.
