I recall the upper legs had the most meat.

I wanted to try the coconut crabs, because I heard they were really good, but I was never able to get one.

Coconut crabs are pretty common in the pet trade. I've never seen any for sale for eating. I've seen some videos of many thousands of coconut crabs migrating across the land and have always wondered if they would be good to eat. During the migrations, you could easily catch.more crabs then you could eat in a year.
