honestly the dickinsons are Turkish guns , imported by an outfit in Cali

The Turks can make a good gun if someone else holds them to a level of QA and does the inspections but you still have a throw away gun because no one bothers to make spare parts and the parts vary from batch to batch , that it works is all that really matters when it leaves the line.

however the single shot looks like someone put lips stick on the Wally world Hatfield

WHY are you looking at single shot 20ga shotguns , what is your use , what are you wanting it to do ?

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I'm using a Rossi single shot now. It works OK but it has a hollow plastic butt stock and kicks hard for a 20 gauge.

My intention is to simplify things. One gun for all hunting. A lofty, maybe unrealistic goal. But, being retired, I have time to tweak thinks.

The more I look, the more I like one of the Henry shotguns. A bit more expensive, though. You have to pay for quality.

ergo, bibamus.

Frankly, If I was looking for a single shot 20, I'd run 28 gauge powered loads through it, or get a single 410, a light single 20 in stout loads is still gonna kick hard...
