It'll at least thin out the beavers.

Biggest I ever caught was 84" in the Snake River, all catch and release here. Used to fish them down by the mouth of the Columbia where you could keep them (with size restrictions) best eating fish there is in my opinion, better than halibut.

My grandmother had an old picture of her dad and some other guys pulling one out with a team of horses. Haven't seen that picture since I was a teenager, so it might have grown with the years, but by my memory I'd say it was pushing 20 feet. Will always remember in 6th grade a girl in my class brought in a VHS of her dad fishing and he hooked into a big sturgeon, when it came up and rolled next to the boat it was longer than the boat (not sure how big the boat was), when it seen the boat it took off and spooled him.
