Charlotte's web is about life and death, there's no real bad guy or villain and even death is not seen as a bad thing. I've grown fond of it as has my daughter.

But then I let my kids watch some pretty wild movies at young age. Just had to be with mom or I present. That even included Disney type stuff so they learned differences between fiction and reality.
