I did a couple rats and coons last year with the Boco method with good results. I’m working on a small black bear using the Boco method now— pickled, tanned, now drying so far so good.

Very nice. Are you planning to board it once it’s out for the drying stage?

I think so. He’s no longer cased, he’s open. But I can prob still tack him on there to hold his shape. That’s sometimes the part that confuses me. When and how to dry and how to break. I’m gonna have to get the cartilage out of his ears and really work on his face so I can flip him back fur side out

Sorry it’s hard for me to explain

If it’s already open, I would just tack it out on a piece of plywood. You can shave any spots that need attention then. You won’t have to work near as hard breaking it tacking it out. “Scrunching it a bit” will loosen it up.

Looking good. Don't confuse that LITE cup with something you should drink.

Don’t worry I won’t! Drinking beer out of a plastic cup is a sin
