“One of four bodies returned from Gaza to Israel on Thursday is not hostage Shiri Bibas, as claimed by Hamas, the Israeli military said.

The news that Shiri Bibas, 33, and her two sons, Ariel and Kfir, who would now be aged five and two, were dead triggered an outpouring of grief in Israel.


The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has informed the Bibas family that the bodies of her sons have been identified after their remains were given to Israel by Hamas on Thursday.
But the third body was not that of their mother, the IDF says.
It demanded the return of her body along with the other remaining hostages. Hamas has not yet commented on Israel's claim.

"During the identification process, it was determined that the additional body received is not that of Shiri Bibas, and no match was found for any other hostage. This is an anonymous, unidentified body," the IDF posted on X.
"This is a violation of utmost severity by the Hamas terrorist organisation, which is obligated under the agreement to return four deceased hostages. We demand that Hamas return Shiri home along with all our hostages."

The IDF said that the two children "were brutally murdered by terrorists in captivity in November 2023", according to intelligence and forensic findings. Hamas had said the boys and their mother were killed in an Israeli bombing.
Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas were aged 32, four and nine months when they were kidnapped during the Hamas attacks on Israel on 7 October 2023.

The children's father Yarden Bibas, 34, was released by Hamas on 1 February.
Israel has confirmed that the fourth body returned on Thursday was that of veteran peace activist, Oded Lifshitz.”

Hamas probably sold Mrs. Bibas and can't get her back.

It was a joke. Every time Trump says something stupid or outlandish everyone talks about 3D chess. I generally like what Trump is doing but I also do not believe everything he does or says is 3D Chess, its just outlandish thoughts that sometimes leave his mouth.

Interesting that the Palestinians who sided with the Nazi's during WWII and consequently lost their bit of land because of that, are calling the IDF Nazi's. The very definition of Gas lighting, or pathological lying.

If I was Israel I would not allow any Palestinians to live in Gaza, ever. They are not to be trusted or maybe they are as people ignorant. While all Muslims are not terrorists I think the people of Gaza turned a blind eye to what was going on and never condemned Hamas or the atrocities they committed.

An autopsy just proved that the Palestinians strangled the 9 month old baby and his 4 year old brother to death and then later mutilated their bodies, in a failed attempt to make it look like they were killed in an air strike. Their mother is still missing and it appears the Palestinians substituted one of their own women for the mother.



The Palestinians are terrible people.

Keith, it is reassuring to know where you stand. To KNOW that YOU take what the IDF releases to be the truth. Don't ever question if it really is the truth, just accept it as such. If you think that the IDF won't change the information to their advantage, then you have proven how gullible you are. If you don't know THE truth, please don't spew your opinion as fact.

It's a fair point that you might not want to take everything the IDF says at face value. There is a lot of effort that goes into public perception manipulation by every government that cares about how it, and it's military are perceived by the public. That's just a fact of life.

That said, it is also a fair point the Hamas are some of the most brutal and horrible people alive today. Unfortunately, they are widely supported by the Palestinian people as well. You won't get rid of Hamas with traditional methods, because they are part of, and supported by a population that views peace as merely an opportunity to re-arm for the next attack.

Cato the elder was famous for continually saying "Carthage must be destroyed" because he understood that Rome could never have true peace or security while Carthage existed. There would merely be temporary lulls between wars.

Likewise, in our era, Gaza must be destroyed completely if there is to be real peace. Anything less will result in just a lull in between wars at best.

Lastly, regardless of what Trump said, the last thing in the world the USA should want is to own Gaza. That's asking for nothing but trouble. We don't want any of that headache. Instead, we should let Israel utterly destroy the place and do what it takes to achieve permanent peace instead of always thinking we can reason and negotiate with those who's main goal in life is to murder and kill Jews at any cost, including their own life, or the lives of their people. You can't negotiate with that, you have to utterly destroy it.

Gaza must be destroyed.

Trump doesn't want Gaza.

In essence then, they have earned and deserve to be vaporized.
