Exactly how I feel about the 6.5, I have calibers that work and I have no use for one, but some guys need a reason to buy another rifle I guess. The other thing is too many guys figure they are now snipers, simply because they bought one, and they shoot all their deer under 150 yards anyway. Best marketing campaign since rage broadheads came out.

just out of curiosity , how many of you are shooting running deer

I would guess about 75% of mine have been

it was just how we hunted doing drives.

I used a 6.5 for over 25 years and loved it but it is a swedish mauser not a creedmor.
