I stole the stump from my house kitty so I guess we’ll see…

I actually caught a cat right here today. About 30 feet from where I set the stump I have a dirt hole that a bobcat walked by last week. That was my reason for wanting to use the stump as a walk through rub set. Well today I carried the stump down to the arroyo and saw my trap bed at the dirt hole was blown open and drag marks through the sand towards the sandstone boulders. Saw cat tracks and followed drag marks right to a nice female. I’m fairly certain this is a different bobcat than I missed last week. Last week track was quite a bit bigger so I’m hoping it’s a tom that will come back through looking for this female. My trap is literally right where his track was from last week. Fingers crossed he comes back sometime before March 15.
