Took the wife on a trip to NH to our granddaughters baby shower.Looks like we are going to be great grandparents.

If I was a in tact male forced to sit through that, I’d have the same look on my face. I have 3 kids, happily married, and still fully in tact. No way am I ever having anything to do with any kind of “couples” shower or anything like it.

I even had some fun.They played a few games.One had 20 animals and you had to name what the animals babies were called.I got them all right and won $20.....

My wife is not comfortable driving around the big cities down there so I brought her.Not my favorite thing to attend but I did.

Do they know the sex of that little one they are welcoming into the world? Be tough to be front and center for me also, I give him a lot of credit to be there.

And why traditionally Men don't go to baby showers. It's for the chick's. Men going to them is more common today with the soy boys and men controlled by women.

My wife came home from one last week and said she hated the new trend of men at baby showers.

Not to change the subject, but I went to a bachelor party ones and there was only one woman there.
And she wasn't a relative.

Yes he is He was there when the baby was made! Everytime a gift was opened he saved money

And his wife can tell him all about it when its over and he gets home!

It is common courtesy for the DAD to be there. NOT just the wife getting those gifts. NOW husbands of the attendees is different. But the daddy of the baby different animal.

Since when? Showers are for chicks only, so they can complain about men....

I think it’s nice that families and communities still come together to do these things and enjoy one another’s company. I just think that they drag on way too long and I usually have something else I’d rather be doing. If the young man felt so inclined to be there, good on him. Nobody said he was forced.
I don’t golf but Chuckie still takes me with him and I get to ride in the cart and see wildlife and listen to him cuss himself at bad shots and laugh
Sometimes you just like to be with your spouse.

When the women folk go to a baby shower,,we usually get together and go fishing.We will show up much later to see if there is any food left.

Cz scout is the nicest youth .22 I have found. Never to early to get the baby started right.

Lol.....Life is so precious.Two years ago sadly she lost her first child when she was 8 months along when the Umbilical cord got kinked.We all have our fingers crossed on this one.

Just said a prayer for baby and mom. I got three great grandchildren myself. Children are a blessing.
