How many Newhouse traps are on the bottom?

One lot brought 2x what I could sell them for and the other brought 3x what I could sell them for.
I’m hauling a load down there soon for the next sale lol.

KRE that was my do everything trap in the '50 and '60s. Mainly coon, grey fox and very few reds they all were caught in that trap. Of course muskrats and occasionally mink..... Long time ago.......jk Oh and they were 50 cents each at the furrier in Union NJ

Online auctions are the best…. For the seller.

And occasionally for the buyer. I’ve snagged a few good deals. Not very often but it does happen.

Claycreech - you are wrong about that. There were TWO people out of their minds. Takes more than one bidder to drive prices that high!! But I agree that price is a money loser any way you look at it.

Except for that one Newhouse that ADC pointed out, I don’t think there was anything special on either pallet. I saw a list on the pallet with the 3 barrels, it is just a bunch of user traps, admittedly they are new.

Plus shipping or at least the trip to get them....

I can't help but think that someone is going to have some "Buyers Remorse".

Pretty crazy prices, probably bought by some anti trappers. They already have them melted down

The breakout of what’s in the barrels is as below.

26- #44 DLS
22-#4 DLS
11-#44 DUS
40-#2 stop loss (you mentioned these had #2 pans but are #1.5)
7-#2 Montgomery step-in coil spring used
24-#1 DLS
43-# 2 1/2 SLS
1- 1 1/2 stop loss
2- #21 under spring used or at least rusted
2- Victor 3N original but very heavy rust and misaligned
5- #2 SLS used

There was 2 #3 Newhouse in one of the cardboard barrels. One was badly damaged. Not the really old ones.

Between the 2 lots there was 18 dozen 1 1/2 stoploss.

NOS bear traps, watch your local flea markets, antique shops and fleabay.
