I have 17 coyotes, 1 fox and 1 coon all in the round. I had a buyer set up that decided to ghost me when it came time to get em gone. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of another buyer in the Central South Dakota area or someone that has a route through here. Coyotes are a tough sale this year! Thanks!

That’s going to be tough especially in the round. Good luck

In the round, and how much were you willing to pay the buyer? Lol, just teasing. Hopefully they are frozen or you may be sharpening your knife. Good luck.

That's about right! It took some effort to find a buyer before I started! And he left me hanging! They're frozen solid right now but we got some really warm days coming up

Time to get to skinning. Selling in the round is tough. Skinned and rolled up they won't take that much room in the freezer. Then put them up at your leisure or at least you'll have an easier time finding a buyer with them skinned. Good luck

Colt furs might be running out west river. Check with Peterson Furs over by Brookings also.

Finished coyotes are averaging $6 to $7 at western sales.

Finished.

I wouldn't work very hard for $20 worth of carcass fur.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Take getting rid of some coyotes and a coon as a win and realize you may wind up diching them.

Get them tanned and sell them that way you can make better money doing that. Go to Moyles and get the info you need there just needs a little marketing on your part or folks you know might buy them you’ll be surprised.

Are they stored outside?

If so they are going to be in tough shape and may be why he ghosted you
