I bid a job off a customer supplied photo, we ended up cutting down the wrong tree and will have to work all day tomorrow for free. Got home and a cow had bloated and died. Came inside and the girls are all edgy. Bout $6,000 worth of screw ups today. Does this happen frequently ? 1 /

Today was typical for a retired old fart. Yesterday, though, I took my wife to Mayo Clinic and we got good news. The good news part of your post just became my new positive for today. Good for you and your wife!

Second time cutting down the wrong tree in 10 years, both times due to miscommunication with customers.

Sun came out, weather warmed up, snow melting fast, bees flying. Things are pretty good in these parts. Did not see bees but could smell spring.

Just got back from checking traps. While I was along the creek bank checking a couple of otter sets, my lab decided to run down skunk and get sprayed. I just got back in the house after given him a couple of baths I’m

was a good day. Made it home at 1030 last night and got to sleep next to my wife in my bed. As I was going to sleep I would hear a buzz noise now and then the would wake me up. I determined it was in the breaker box and when the furnace kicked on. Put in a new breaker and took care of that this morning, cut a load of wood with the boys hung out with my wife. It was a great day. Lucked out found a problem and got it fixed got to spent time with the family and a little work done on the farm. Even played with the dogs and pet one of the cats. life Is good.
I also saw bees but was making tracks in a hurry to get ready to leave for work and didn't take time to count how many colonies were still alive. One I over wintered in a swarm trap wasn't.

Good day ahead. High of 61. Planning on finishing putting out my trapline.
