About the 2nd picture. Is that cage used as a cubby? just Nope, that is just the beauty of the cage. It was a small cat so I just tipped the cage over and released it.
I have nothing clever to put here.

All Minnesota cats? Thought had special tags for bobcat. Yes, MN cats with a limit of 5 per person.

Lots of memories there. Great photos and catches! Thanks!
My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

160 is not only a comedian but one heck of a great trapper. I don’t know. I think he has cajoled his niece into doing the heavy work, just like his fishing, including convincing her to get into nursing so she could patch him up as needed for free. Besides, who’s going to take his picture all the time. Good heavens second only to the Manitoba guy on that… Kidding for a friend. Osky

Nice shots. Lots of good fur too. Even gray fox, I see. And a Badger ! I run just about 50/50 Reds and Greys here but I have only ever caught one Cross. Thankfully, I got it right behind the house on the home property. The Badger and Pine Marten off the home place were certainly unexpected and I never dreamed of catching them here.
I have nothing clever to put here.

The greys really came on 10-12 years ago 60 miles or so north of you Rob but just as quick the numbers turned back down. Osky

That grey muzzle of the dog ? . Paco had a black face as a pup and the wide mask just got bigger with each passing year. I had her for 14 years.

Now go find the sales receipts from that fur......the bragging right will be all over then.
I bet that first cat pick if harvested brought good money. As I recall, the one winter that dad and I worked at actually catching cats, we averaged over $300. Those were the good old days. Him and I would spend every day together chasing cats and muzzleloader hunting deer.

And 500$ bought you a new skidoo Olympic in them there days. One fellow in Manitoba had the IRS come after him for doing over $ 120K on lynx I bought my Tundra new in 2002 as I recall. It was $6500. Sitting along side it was a brand new liquid cooled whiz bang sled for just about the same price. The dealership had a waiting list of guys for the Tundras.
