If you are gonna act a fool on a motorcycle, don’t do it at evening rush hour. People in cars get (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) when the interstate is blocked by fools. Several guys this evening are very lucky to be alive. When trucks and cars try to get around motorcycles and they act a fool, the motorcycle will lose. It was scary and infuriating at the same time. Surprised i did not see a death tonight.

See it all the time. The idiots that crowd the center line and actually swerve at you to try to make you move over to the edge of the road. Nope. And always some bad dude on a Harley .

People in cars been trying to kill me for 50 years ! None have been successful so far.

A guy on a motorcylce in front of me popped a wheely in the middle of traffic on the George Washington bridge back years ago.One slip and there would be at least 50 or more cars run him over.Just plain crazy.

What constitutes driving like a fool ! I often ride alongside those I trust at 80 mph. I will ride 6” off the centerline facing opposing traffic.

I don’t race around cutting in and out of traffic.

That is exactly what these morons were doing. They also cut off the fast lane and the next lane over to give a pocket for one of the fools to do wheelies at 80 mph in the fast lane at 6 pm evening traffic on Interstate 40.

That constitutes driving like a fool.

And FTR I have zero problem with motorcycles. They have as much right on the road as a car. But when a moron takes his motorcycle and does some seriously life threatening moves in front of me in side to side and close front to back traffic at 80 mph, I don't have much option if he messes up his 80 mph wheelie.

As much as I am in favor of Darwinism, I don't want to be the one who carries out the genetic cleansing.

Riding the centerline is a safety thing.

Weaving in and out of traffic is stupid on every level. As is doing wheelies in traffic.

Like 2Poor, I've ridden at 80 mph with packs of people. It takes a lot of trust in the people you are riding with. There is a lot of communication going on in pack rides that normal people don't understand or even see happening.

If you just assume every vehicle is driven by a Somalian woman , nothing surprises you while riding !

Technically motorcycles are supposed to be in the third of the lane closest to the center dividing line for safety. The middle can be too high and the right third is more likely to have trash or dangerous debris that can kill a motorcyclist.

Again, I have nothing against motorcyclists. Just the ones that are fools.

I might support a Bounty on those Crotch Rocket types that over rev there bikes while weaving in and out of traffic.

Absolutely!! My daughter rides and I came home very worried about the group she rides with. We had a quick discussion about leaving the highway and going another route if any of her buds decide to act fools.

She said she is usually in the back and all ride safely. Really shook me up seeing that could be my daughter's group. Thank GOD it wasn't.

Look at the center of a travel lane after a rain. You will often see the oil film deposited as it drips from the countless vehicles. Not the safest area for a bike !

Quick bike story, we were on the road, no traffic, motorcycle roars past us swerving and fooling around at about 80 mph, said to the kids, that fool is trying to kill himself.... a few miles done the road there he is laying in the middle of the road dead, his bike a hundred yards down the road. cop just got there and was taking a sheet out of the trunk to cover him, drove past slow, my 8 year old son was sitting on that side of the car and got an eyeful....

Kid never showed interest in motorcycles after that and you can barely get him to do the speed limit.....

I came up on a wreck two weeks ago where a gal in a Ford Escape that had crossed the centerline and took on a UPS semi pulling a trailer
Took two wheels off the trailer and spun her into the ditch. She and her passenger Escaped without injuty.

I'D BET SHE WAS ON HER CELL PHONE.
