I've had good results with H4198 and AA1680. The H4198 with 20gr Hornadays ave 3504 fps and the 23gr Kinders ave 3200 fps. The AA1680 with the 23gr Kinders ave 3021 fps. If you can find a Vickerman bullet seating die, makes life easier with the side cut out. It's made loading the 17 HH and 17 Rem a lot faster and no pinched fingers. Rifle I've been using is the CZ527 American.

If I still used a rifle while calling coyotes as much as I used to, I'd be tempted to buy one. I've handled the Savage Walking Varminter in that caliber and it's a good feeling rifle.

Great gun. I use 15.5 grain Hornady NTX on woodchucks in the summer, and 25 grain Hornady HP on furbearers.
