Tikka T3 1-14 twist. 50 vmax or sierra 53 grain matchhollowpoint.

52 grain Speer hp and 60 Sierra Hp. That Sierra is a tremendous bullet.

what i also like about these rounds is they are pretty easy on the fur most holes are silver dollar or smaller

I’m kinda inclined to try the 73 and/or 75 grain ELD-Ms.


If they’re half as good (terminally speaking) as the 108s in 6mm they’ll really be something!

I had a Remington 700 BDL Deluxe 22-250 with a heavy "Bull" barrel on it, and it would shoot "holes within holes" all day at 100 yards. 3 shot groups in mostly the same hole. Lots of Quarters strung on chains because of that gun. I use a 12 gauge with #4 Buckshot now for Canines. A little more......... "in your lap" Exciting! LOL.

Most of the time I cant see a coyote at 500 yards. They are good hiders and sneaking arounders. When I do its not a given I can make the shot. I have a few times. Get one standing still at 300 or so I dont let to many get away. I know my limitations. Annie Oakleys of the world are rare. Shooting a target at the range, known distance, not moving, is a lot different than hunting. If I figured on a 500 yard shot ahead of time I wouldnt be shooting a 22. Something the wind doesnt blow around as bad. Instead of 90 grain 22 pills why not just use a 243? Or bigger? Guessing the wind is still guessing. Pretty easy to be off some. There are folks good at it. I am not one of them. Buying a sub MOA rifle wont mean you can do it either. Range finder helps. If you have time to use it. An everyday average golfer isnt going to go on the protour cause he bought hand made golf clubs.
