Take your winch hook in the front. Go on the front side of the rail with the cable and hook it to that center d-ring on the trailer bed. Snug up the cable and the front off the machine is secure on the trailer.
I have a 2018 Polaris and a 5×8 trailer like you and have been doing it this way for years. Quick and easy

I started years ago with a 4 wheeler, then went to a sidexside.. The little wheeler is more maneuverable, but can haul much less. Also the weather can be a factor. They leave a much smaller footprint, which can be important in bad field conditions. I have gotten permissions because I'm not plowing around with a pickup. You will find it an asset on your line. Enjoy and good trapping.

IF you had your choice of one to buy for trapping which one would you go for?

Honda is the most reliable, I've ran Arctic Cat TBX's for a lot of years, that foot longer wheelbase makes them unbelievably more stable on steep hills and the bed on the back is great for hauling stuff... but I hesitate to recommend them because with Arctic Cat going out of business I worry about parts availability.

I'm going to look at a 1999 AC 500 tomorrow. Needs a head gasket but if that's all that's wrong with it, I'll probably take it. The guy is asking $700, the gasket kit is around $70 I think

Nice ride ksnow! I use both my atv and utv on the line, I really like my utv just for hauling capacity, especially after I added my front rack. Eric
