It's like Jose Wales said to Chief 10 Bears, Governments don't live together, people do.

Yes, US hunters can hunt in friendly Canada as long as they pay their $25 firearm tariff when they cross the border. Fishing rods will be next. LOL

I’d say the work being done there is sub par. You don’t convince someone to join your team by bashing and belittling them.

Is anybody boycotting Canada? Didn't know there was one going on other than Canadians boycotting the U.S. Don't really understand why they are. Tariffs on aluminum, for instance, might get bauxite mining moving again in Arkansas providing well paying jobs once again. Can't blame a President for trying to look out for the country he leads before taking care of countries he doesn't. Good luck to y'all hosers.

Squash, Come into the US with a gun and see what kind of paperwork forms and fees you have to fill out. I have paid the $25 dollar fee for two guns and had more hassle getting back into America with them. Wish I was a trapper up there great to be able to build a cabin on crown land and have your own area to trap, not in the US. A lot of folks from the US fish and hunt in Canada better hunting in most areas and free, hard to get on land here and its costing more all the time.

Danvee, I’ve hunted and fished Canada dozens of times, never had issues or paid any fees bringing my firearms back into the USA. And I’ve crossed at 4 different ports of entry.

If you had to pay a fee bringing your USA firearms back into the USA, you did one of two things. Purchased the firearm in Canada, or failed to fill out the firearm deceleration form on the USA side before entering Canada.

It’s ok for Canada to place tariffs on American goods but it’s an insult for the US to place comparable tariffs on Canadian goods

I’d much rather pay the $25 fee to take my guns into Canada than go through US Customs coming back into the US with them, even with a 4457 form. I got hung up for 1.5 hours at the Peace Bridge last year in Buffalo. I had killed two bull moose….had the proper export forms from Canada, antler tags, and my hunting licenses. Agent hassled me about having two moose ( that’s legal ), and said he couldn’t read the serial number on my rifle barrel ( it was plain as day ). I’ve done this crossing 16 times, it’s always the same….Canadians treat me good, US Customs treat you like a criminal.
