When putting up fisher how long do you leave the front legs. I've noticed in a lot of videos full length front legs before turning. Not cut closer like coon or mink etc.....

Thanks for the responses. Fisher have fur on their front legs and top of paws that's beautiful. Not sure if anyone utilizes it. I'll leave them long.

Thanks hern. That's how I've done it before. Wasn't sure if the market wanted them long now. That one has a heck of a bruise on It's hip.

Thanks Hern. That one has a heck of a bruise on Its hip. Caught by rear foot, on 10' cable extension.

You definitely want to leave them long enough that once you tuck them in you see no skin showing from anywhere in that leg hole.
If you cut them too short where they don’t tuck in, the fur will be graded damaged.
