I remember back thirty-forty years ago shad darts were all the rage for crappie. Fished under a bobber in chop or retrieved they were deadly. I caught many hundreds with shad darts.

Eh...wot?

I’ve always found out I got to be on the water to catch fish lol and I’m an opportunist but prefer channel cats on the creeks

I much prefer 1/16 jigs. I pour my own with a single strand weed guard and #1 hook. Mr Crappie Slabilious(sp?) in June bug.

We skip under cables and slingshot under docks so anything with a blade is not ideal.
