This position supervises seven Wildlife Damage Specialists across twenty counties in Region 2, which include: Corson, Dewey, Stanley, Jones, Lyman, Mellette, Todd, Tripp, Gregory, Charles Mix, Douglas, Brule, Buffalo, Hand, Hyde, Hughes, Sully, Potter, Walworth, and Campbell. This position will be responsible for the implementation of programs and management activities associated with animal damage control and wildlife damage management in Region 2. DWC trapper D Joined: Apr 2011 SE SD	SD got stupid expensive under Noem the last few years. My escrow went up 300/month a couple months ago. Taxes in this county are in the top 10 percent in the nation.

ChrisM OP trapper C Joined: Dec 2006 South Dakota	It was not opened internally. Like every state, housing cost depend on where you want to live. You can live anywhere in the region. Housing is very reasonable in the small rural towns where most all of us live. As a side note... SD has no state income tax and only 4%state sales tax Last edited by ChrisM; 03/30/25 08:45 AM.
