FishingHoleFind trapper Joined: Jan 2025 Alaska	You can put an apple in Brown sugar to keep it fresh for over a year. Might work on bananas as well but you'll get more like days/weeks out of it at best not months.

But in all seriousness acid will kill a fish smell, so lemon juice or vinegar both work well. I keep a spray bottle of vinegar to douse things with lingering scents.
