Not too bad a price for an A bolt action with a magnum bolt face. I've got a stainless 26" 375 H and H barrel with nine rounds through it that I would make you a deal on. Take off from an A bolt, should be an easy switch.

If I am not mistaken, the H&H is it's own action length and the box will be too short of a 7 mag. At least it is in model 70's.
I could be wrong, but I believe the A bolt comes in three lengths, but rather than two lengths of long actions, it is two lengths of short actions. Super short for cartridges like the WSSM family, short for .308 length cartridges and one long action long enough to fit the H and H magnums and other magnums of that length as well as 30-06 and Remington magnum lengths like the 7mm Rem Mag. I know I bought the rifle with the 375 H & H barrel specifically for the left hand action to build a 7mm STW on, which is a longer magnum of the same length as the H & H magnums and the 8mm Remington Magnum (the STW's parent cartridge). I know you are correct in some brands and models, like the Winchesters and Tikkas. I was somewhat limited in my choices due to wanting a left handed, stainless model long enough to hold my choice of cartridge in the magazine. I really wanted a Sako, but was unwilling to pay the price I could find one for, simply for an action. I really like the Browning action though, very smooth, accurate, and the 60 degree bolt lift makes it fast and easy to operate.
