So you are not a trapper by admission, yet you identify as a trapper and you don't know much about firearms and know very little about wildlife. Just curious, what is your real reason for joining our community here Spaz ? Real reason? Don't you think I would have already posted some activist crap by now? If you want to recommend a beginners trappers forum, go right ahead. Yeah, the boss let me in, so just ignore me. I can't believe the flack I need to endure just to try and learn, guess I should have just lurked. Not just here, even the Lutheran church I attended on easter... wow

Not everyone grew up with this stuff and some may be interested in learning. Sure is an unwelcoming place for new people if they use the wrong terms.

OK he has been through the gauntlet. The Boss has vetted him. Never met a trapper that was born with all the answers. Give him a little slack while he learns our craft we hold so dear.

LOL, that explains your signature. Yep, Lutherans do things different. Lots of liturgy. I went to a Lutheran service years ago just to see what it was like. Stuck out like a diamond stud in a hogs......well, I stuck out. . Never went back. I stick with Baptists. They're more predictable.

Dad used to collect cigarette butts off the street to roll for him. Said the liberator's tried to starve him and half of them never made it out.. Look up "Eisenhower Rhine Meadows Death Camps Documentary" on rumble. Yeah, they were nazi's, but would have been hung on the spot had they known what they thought of Hitler. A distant relative was a friend of Martin Luther, but I haven't been to church in 30 years and may have had something to do with marrying a Jewish women. Or the fact I became a raging drunk. I haven't needed a drink since she left though. Like me yet?

Well Spaz, you oughta fit right in. We got Friday night drunks and washed in the blood of the lamb teetotalers. We got excellent trappers, mediocre trappers and retired trappers that don't trap anymore and everything in between. We got white trappers, black trappers, woman trappers. Beyond a doubt, they're some Mexican trappers here that I don't know of also. It's an eclectic mix. Political geniuses too. Lots of political geniuses. We got it all. Welcome to the forum.
