My understanding he's liberal lite. Apparently they took in a huge amount of indian-asians as part of the empire and now they make up a large voting block that is mostly urban and more interested in external issues than Canadian ones. Also part of the slow simmering conflict between India and Canada.

Canada has the 2nd largest population of Sikhs outside of India , they would call themselves Pujabi , as India and Pakistan are a British empire creation on a map to divide the people in such a way that they couldn't ever agree on anything and thus not be a threat till the Britch until they finally had enough and agreed on one thing , push the British out.

Sikhs also represent the 2nd largest ethnic group in the Indian Army.

they do tend to be more urban/suburban dwellers , they often run businesses in WI they operate a lot of gas stations, small markets and hotels , my doctor when I was a kid was a Sikhs

They own the convenience stores and a lot of the berry farms in Washington.
Nice thing is they dislike the Muslims.

The Sikhs are tough guys and productive workers, I believe they are also Caucasian.., and not muslims , bunch of different sects in India.

Sihk men carry a knife on a chain around their necks. Muslims and Hindus mostly hate them. The Hindus occasionally try to exterminate them. There was several huge massacres. Sihks have a reputation as warriors. I've dealt with less than a dozen Sihks in my life. They all seemed okay.
