Interested in doing a Alligator and or combo with hog or iguana hunt in Florida. Doing some research and wondered if anyone on here had any recommendations or experience with a alligator hunt? Any info appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jim.

Can't help with the hogs or gators, but was in south Florida a year or so back and did notice the iguanas. Then recently began to notice on youtube how many guys and gals there are down there doing ADC work by shooting iguanas with air rifles. I assume they are contracted by individual homeowners and homeowner associations, golf courses, etc, but am curious how much they get paid for that? The air rifle rigs some of them use probably cost in excess of $2,000 each.

You need to watch who you are using. I spend 3 to 4 months in Naples and was looking into hog, alligator hunting. Most I was seeing where animals ADC pick up and release into high fence lots. Not what I was looking for. Looking into iguanas hunting and guides where charging $600+. Been scouting for area I can access to iguana hunt and need to get high quality air gun. Getting out in the sticks where Iv been scouting is not like being in MO. Thick swamp with 10 yard visibility that is loaded with snakes and alligators.

I had been watching those also. Cant believe some they are posting. I have no problem with them hunting in bikinis, but the shots their taking towards vehicles and personal property shows how stupid and careless they are.

If you're considering an urban iguana guided hunt do your research deep into the outfitter as your every move will be on camera whether or not you think that a camera is there. And as they anything can and will be used against you.

Urban can be done but it takes a certain set of skills and attention to detail.

Good advice!
