The Iowa trappers association will be hosting a few trapping classes this summer,the first 2 are June 22, from 8-12, and 1-5. Classes are free and will be covering skinning, fleshing, and boarding of raccoon, skunk, and muskrat. Each student will also be given the opportunity to flesh their own raccoon. Registrations are below!

Good to offer those. Now especially as more and more market places don't handle green fur or carcasses. Another good thing about putting up coons is it won''t take long for the trapper to know which ones to not even bother with after they do a few. Nothing like fleshing 50 coons and find out 15 of them have no value even put up.

NJ fish and game along with the 2 trapping associations have been doing this for a couple years now. It has been well received by the students and new trappers,good luck !

We have had skinning demos as part of our TE classes here in WI for decades. While Greg was healthy we had 3-6 fur handling demos every year at the WTA rondy and many times other members filled in as well.
