If I remember right he hunted that ranch dodgin heat for over a decade

… also believe one of the game wardens got in a bind poaching off the King around that same time

… shot a buck out of the house pasture or something where he wasn’t supposed to

Congratulations on the three year anniversary, well deserved I’m sure.

Still got a little green in them pants I’m sure, not like you deleted phone numbers from your phone when you retired.

My crew still calls me weekly. Sometimes just to talk. Sometimes to keep me up to date on Ga DNR LE. A few times to ask my opinion about how best to catch Bubba.

Glad you participate here Uncle Swamp. Congrats on the retirement, I think I remember when you said something about it on here, but goodness, it doesn't seem like its been three years ago.

You are 100% right on them growers running under the radar. Couple years ago a buddy of mine was hog hunting across the road from my place. He had bayed a hog and found a heckuva grow. They had left already as it was winter, but they left all their stuff there. Pumps, stoves, tools, etc. They just took the goods and left everything else. I know what goes on at all my neighbors' places, but I never saw that. They had hauled in so much equipment to irrigate the grow and never left; they just lived out there. We all drive by there every single day and never had a clue. Sneaky, sneaky rascals.
