They're mulched now. It was just too much of a pain to keep up with while I had the tomato cages around them.

I planted 3. I did a ton of research a couple years ago to figure out what would do well in my area. The only ones I could find were from Elmore Root's nursery in Vermont. They were expensive, but I'm happy with them.
